I was building a stand for a Japanese drum and was trying
to make it straight.
When I stood it up the stand was crooked.
I then realized why, I had used some boards that were a
little crooked.
I forced the boards with screws and a brace to comply.
It didn't, so I reassembled them and did not force the
boards to bend, it worked.
So I thought that God might be showing me something.
I think it is a common problem, especially here.
We try to force things to comply prophetically, numerous
failures.
Like trying to make your children straighten out by talking
to them in an angry voice.
Like trying to get your way even though you know God does
not want it that way.
I think this is like us. God took us lumps and all.
God knows how to use a crooked board without twisting it
out of shape
He can even take a bunch of crooked boards and build a
church
He even speaks thru a bunch of crooked boards, like here
Early this morning I put my shirt on in the
dark, you can feel it when it is backwards.
So too a word given out of season.
