The stock market crashes of Monday, 10/28/1929 and Tuesday, 10/29/1929 occurred on the Jewish days of Tishri 24 and Tishri 25, which were 2 to 3 days after the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles that ran from 10/19 thru 10/26, 1929.  The Feast of Tabernacles begins on a full moon day, and runs from Tishri 15 thru Tishri 22.

 

Below are more dates of crashes or huge losses on the stock markets:

 

Wed., 11/06/1929 occurred on Cheshvan 3 which was 11 days after the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles that ran from 10/19 - 10/26, 1929.

Monday, 10/19/1987 occurred on Tishri 26 which was 4 days after the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles that ran from 10/08 thru 10/15/1987.

 

Friday, 10/13/1989 occurred on Tishri 14/Eve of the Feast of Tabernacles that ran from 10/14/2012 thru 10/21/2012.  There was a mini-crash according to the article at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friday_the_13th_mini-crash

 

Monday, 10/27/1997 occurred on Tishri 26 which was 4 days after the last day of the   Feast of Tabernacles that ran from 10/16 thru 10/23, 1997.

 

Monday, 9/17/2001 occurred on Elul 29/Eve of Rosh Hoshanah or the Eve of Feast of Trumpets. Day 1 of the Feast of Trumpets began on 9/18/2001 which was Tishri 1, and the Feast of Trumpets take place when the new moon is sighted.

 

Wednesday, 10/09/2002 occurred on Cheshvan 3 which was 11 days after the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles that ran from 9/21-9/28, 2002. The Dow Jones was at its lowest point on 10/09 according to the chart on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stock_market_downturn_of_2002

Monday, 9/29/2008 occurred on Elul 29/Eve of Rosh Hoshanah or the Eve of the Feast of Trumpets.  Day 1 of the Feast of Trumpets began on 9/30/2008 which was Tishri 1. The Dow Jones dropped 777.68 points on 9/29.

 

Thurs., Oct. 9, 2008 occurred on Yom Kippur, Tishri 10, also known as the

Day of Atonement.  The Dow Jones dropped 679 points on 10/09.

 

Wed., Oct. 15, 2008 occurred on the 2nd day of the Feast of Tabernacles on Tishri 16.  The Dow Jones dropped 733 points on 10/15.

 

Wed., Oct. 22, 2008 on Tishri 23 occurred 1 day after the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles which ran from 10/14 thru 10/21, 2008.  The Dow Jones dropped 514 points.

 

Monday, Dec. 1, 2008 occurred on Kislev 4 which was 3 weeks before Hannukah which ran from 12/22 thru 12/29/2008.  The Dow Jones dropped 680 points on 12/01.

 

Monday, 3/09/2009 occurred on the Fast of Esther or Adar 13.  According to the chart at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_bear_market_of_2007%E2%80%932009 3/09 was the day that the DJIA, S&P 500 and NASDAQ bottomed.

 

Monday, 8/08/2011 on Av 8 occurred on the Eve of the Fast of Av 9 which was one day before the Fast of Av 9.  The Dow Jones dropped 634.76 points according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/August_2011_stock_markets_fall

 

We know from reading the article called Bad things happen on this date every 7 years

http://www.wnd.com/2012/09/bad-things-happen-on-this-date-every-7-years/ that two crashes happened on Elul 29 on 9/17/ 2001 and on 9/29/2008 which is also the Eve of the Feast of Trumpets.  However, there were also a crash on Tishri 10 known as the Day of Atonement or Yom Kippur, on 10/09/2008 and also on or near the Feast of Tabernacles (Tishri 15 thru Tishri 22).  They were on Tishri 16 as 10/15/2008, Tishri 23 as 10/22/2008, Tishri 24 as10/28/1929, Tishri 25 as 10/29/1929, Tishri 26 as 10/19/1987, Tishri 26 as 10/27/1997, and on Cheshvan 3 as 11/06/1929, and Cheshvan 3 as 10/09/2002. 

 

There was not a stock crash near the Feast of Trumpets in 2012. Will there be one on Yom Kippur, Wed., 9/26/2012?  Or one during the Feast of Tabernacles from 10/01 thru 10/08/2012?  Or on one of the days between Tishri 23 thru Tishri 26 which would be Tuesday, 10/09 thru Fri., 10/12, or perhaps on Cheshvan 3 as Friday, 10/19/2012 which would be during the 3rd week of October?  Time will tell.
