Greetings from Central Texas in the name
of our awesome Savior who is about to be revealed as King!
Does anyone know what time the shofar is
likely to be sounded as part of the Rosh Hashanah liturgy at
the Western Wall in Jerusalem this weekend? I’ve
researched and it appears that the new moon timing is for
7:40am (IDT) on Sept 17th, which is 11:40pm (CT)
on Sept 16th here in Austin.
I’ve researched a number of Jerusalem
event sites for the specific order and procession of the
ceremony but have yet to locate. If anyone finds this
info please post.
In the meantime my family is warming up
our own shofar, celebrating creation week and the month of
Elul, and sharing the news of the gospel of Christ and His
soon return.
That none should perish!
