"For Ola Ilori...my
deep thanks....."
Hi Ola....Your agreement in today's post made my "heart
sing"!!! At least there is ONE person who sees things as
they actually are, and I didn't think there were any. So,
thank you for speaking up.
My heart gets so heavy when I think of ANY unsaved people
today...and this includes Gentiles of any nationality no matter
what "religion" they may follow. And this is also a
concern about the Jews (natural born and people who
practice Judaism by conversion). Everyone needs Jesus
Christ to be saved. My fear is that so many Christians
think that the Jews will be saved no matter what they do (or
don't do), and because of this, they do not speak to their
Jewish friends (or acquaintances) of the need for salvation by
Jesus Christ....nothing or nobody else will do it. They
don't want to offend the Jews....but I would much rather offend
them than offend my Lord Jesus Christ by being "ashamed of the
gosp! el" unto salvation through Him who died for us.
Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery. Is it a
good thing to "flatter" the Jews in their UNBELIEF by referring
to God as "G-d" because the Jews do? Or by becoming more
"Jewish" or Hebrew in speech or mannerisms such as "Shalom" and
calling Jesus "Yeshua"? None of these things are done by
Jesus or by any of the Apostles in the NT. We shouldn't
flatter them by showing we are becoming like they are. We should
show them that they should give up their "religion" (Judaism)
and turn to the only salvation they will get in this lifetime
through their own Messiah whom they didn't recognize. If
they had read Psalms 22, they should have recognized Him.
It's still not too late, and it's time for us all to "step up to
the plate" (so to speak...a baseball term). Once the
Tribulation begins, it will be very difficult and times will be
extremely rough. We should stop doing what ! THEY do and
show them what WE, as believers in Jesus Christ, can do.
"I can do all things through Christ who strengtheneth
me."....Philippians 4:13
Thank you for restoring my faith that there are still those who
believe the truth as it is written....
Hoping and praying to see you soon....
YsiC,
Arlene
