"Response to Mike W....."

Hi Mike....Whew!!  I've read every word you've written, and if I had to give a response to every one of the things you expected of me, it would be quite a task.  As John Tng so wisely said, we all have diverse opinions on just about everything.  We may not agree, but we "agree to disagree."  We are supposed to love each other anyway in spite of the fact that some of us may not be so "lovable."

I don't argue with anyone if it can be avoided.  I know the truth as I read it.  But I don't expect that everyone will listen to things I post.  What I try to do when I post anything is to research what I believe vs the opinions of dozens of other links on the internet (and in books).  After reading about 20 or 30 opinions, I can sense when something doesn't fit what I know to be true.  I also learn other things from those links that show me where I have been in error...then I re-think things! as a whole.

When I post something, it's generally not my own writings because I'm not good at composing concise thoughts.  Sometimes I find one that says "Wow!" to me, and I take that link and share it with those who might want that information.

I will not take a whole bunch of scriptures that have other people's opinions of what each one means (like yours did) and try to make sense of them to myself when, to me, they only present a very confused conclusion.  It's not because I can't answer these things, but I do not have the time or inclination to write a book....and that's what it would end up being.

I am truly thankful to those one or two (of which I am aware) who do read the things I post and go on to do research for themselves.  That gives me all the satisfaction I want or need.  After all, what is the sense of arguing a point to death when we will all know the answers when God takes us "Home" in the near future.  W! e will be judged by our doctrine.

Ephesians 4:14..."That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; (15) But speaking the truth in love, may GROW UP into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ;....."
