Yessssssssssssss sister, you hit the nail right on the head.  The Blood of the Lamb - there is nothing like it, NOTHING can compare or even come close and the Enemy knows it and are terrified of it.  It covers us, it washes us, it purifies us and it protects us.  Amen and Amen.

One of my "old time" favorite hymns was Are You Washed in the Blood?  This is from Alan Jackson's Hymns CD.  I tried to use the live version of him at the Grand Ole Opry, but i was slow and freezing up too much.

The Blood of Jesus is so so so powerful!  Lord, I miss these songs!  Surely we have great comtemporary music, but it's hard to find churches doing these "classics" anymore.
