Dear Kevin,
The thing that puzzles me is that I saw that string of lights about 3" long. They were yellow with spots of red in them like flames though in round small balls on a string. What would you make that out to be?
When I had gone outside to look closer the string was gone with only one ball (or star like) that made me think it had turned away and we were seeing the tail eye view or head on view.
Jupiter to me just looks like a white star from my point of view on our little hill with the naked eye. Even when Jupiter is very close to the earth it still is just a large star.
This yellow ball was definitely different. And when I got up a second time to look at it, about 5-10 minutes later, it was gone and the night sky looked the same as it always did. As I said earlier it was definitely something different. If my husband hadn't seen it also, I would have figured I imagined it.
If you can make a good guess or know what it was, I'd be glad to consider it but it was not Jupiter. I also looked to Jupiter several years ago when it was bomb barded with that broken up comet and all I could see was a large star I presumed was Jupiter.
Love you in Jesus,
Arliss
PS My only regret was that I didn't take a picture of it. But then again it was there and then gone. I didn't even have time to call my daughter to view it who lives with us and is an amateur photographer and has pretty good cameras.
PPS It also could have been that Jesus gave my husband and me a view of what was going on in another part of space????
