MESSAGE OF THE CROSS POSTER
‘For the message of the cross is
foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are
being saved it is the power of God’. -1 Corinthians 1:18
In these times that it seems many
have lost their Biblical ‘Compass’ in the Body of Christ, and
chase after falsities, in one’s opinion, it is always good to be
anchored and pulled back to what understands to be true. And
that is Jesus, the Cross, His Words, Character, Mission, Purpose
and Promises. This is becoming more crucial in the World of
A.I., when one has to ask every time now, ‘Is this True or
A.I.?’
So, when one’s timelines or Rapture timing, High Watch times,
for example come and go, we are fortunate that we can retreat to
the basics of the Bible, and that is the Cross of Calvary, the
Gospel. It was at Calvary that time, space and matter are
defined from in terms of Humanity’s Redemption. It is there and
then where the payment for Sin was made by the Blood of Jesus,
the Jewish Messiah. To that end, when one gets to such places
where one sees the world and the church in decline, what helps
me focus back to what sounds true is to make posters about it.
Here below is a Poster that one has made to share and
encourage with. The Poster is about the ‘Message of the Cross’.
It is about preaching, to save souls and realizing that it is at
a cost. And then there is the factor that in one’s Walk of Faith
with Jesus, He too will ask us to carry one’s ‘Cross’, whatever
that may be for some.
In a general theological sense, it is understood to be a ‘dying
to self’, a dying of the ‘flesh’ that has to be replaced and be
transformed into the Image of Christ. Is otherwise known as the
Process of Sanctification or being set-apart. From what? From
self-will, the world, sin, Satan, etc. The Cross of Christ Jesus
puts to death all that stands against the Will of GOD in one’s
life.
But as with Jesus, the Cross of Calvary was not the end. It was
the beginning of a Resurrection Life. It was also the instrument
in which Jesus used ‘Death’ to destroy ‘Death’ and him, Lucifer
who had the power over Death over Adam’s Race. As it has been
said, it is about the ‘Cross before the Crown’.
