"Days Ahead on the Torah Calendar"


According to the Torah Calendar



Shabbat on Tishri 24 to 25, 10 -17 to 18. Torah Reading Portion # 1 The Creation: "In the beginning."

Shabbat on Cheshvan 1-2, 10-24 to 25. Torah Reading Portion # 2 Noah "As the Days of Noah were."
Rosh Chodesh Cheshvan is 10-31 o 11-1.
This Shabbat with the Noah Portion is 7-8 days before Cheshvan 10. 
The Noah 8 family was given a 7–8-day alert (warning) from Cheshvan 10 to 17.
In the Scriptures, the number 2 represents Division and/or Separation.

Shabbat on Cheshvan 8-9, 10-31 to 11-1. Torah Reading Portion # 3 Lekh Lekha "Get thee out."
Other phrases are go to yourself, go for you, get yourself gone, go, leave, or go forth yourself.

Cheshvan 17: Days of Noah Anniversary Day (Day When Divine Judgment and Wrath Began). Cheshvan 16 to 17, 11-8 to 9.
The rain, deluge and flooding began. The fountains of the deep were released.
A full 40 days and nights of rain began,

In this period the annual Torah Portion renews. It begins again with the Genesis Readings:
