Hello John and Doves,
Add this to the hot
spots of Poland/NATO vs Russia and Israel/US vs Iran:
US vs Venezuela.
Here are several recent
articles showing the U.S. and Venezuela are on the edge of
war..Venezuela is preparing their civilian militia and has
deployed submarines into the Caribbean. They have
declared this 'situation' with the US a
"non-declared war" and have declared "a state of
emergency." Venezuela's military forces are
on 'high alert'.
"The US force has
destroyed at least three boats it said were carrying drugs
from Venezuela to the US, killing at least 17 people on
board. Venezuela's defence minister, Vladimir Padrino,
said the attacks and the US naval deployment amounted to a
"non-declared war" by the US against Venezuela and President
Nicola Maduro swiftly called the militia into active duty."
The U.S. currently has a
reward of $50milion for information leading to the capture
of Maduro.
"...Maduro's government
is now training up the militia." Soldiers are going into the
the towns and countryside to "teach the locals how to handle
arms to respond to "the enemy". The training scenario
includes tanks, Russian-made rifles - not loaded - and
instruction posters."
"Benigno Alarcon, a
political analyst at the Andres Bello Catholic University,
says Maduro's plan for the militia is not for it to engage
in battle but rather to act as a "human shield". ...by
calling up civilians, the Maduro government wants to
increase the human cost any potential US military action
would incur by making the possibility of human casualties
much higher....it therefore does not matter if the militia
are not well trainer or even if they are unarmed."
"Maduro has claimed that
more than 8.2 million civilians are enlisted in the militia
and in the reserves, but this figure has been widely
questioned."
As
US-Venezuela tensions rise, Maduro trains civilians for
"undeclared war"
"Venezuelan
President Nicola Maduro says he is preparing to declare
a state of emergency to protect his country in the event
of an attack by the US military, amid rising tensions
over the deployment of American warships to the
Caribbean."
"For many in
Venezuela, the question is no longer whether tensions with
Washington will reach a boiling point - they already
have. Rather, the big unknown now is whether the
U.S. will follow up on threats and the sinking of drug
boats with something more drastic: direct military
engagement or even regime change."
"As an expert
on international security and U.S.-Latin American
relations, I believe the U.S. position appears to be
inching toward regime change from a prior position of
ambiguity that has fallen short of an outright pledge to
remove Maduro." Maduro has friends in China and
Russia and Cuba. "And such factors may force the
Trump administration to continue to walk a fine line
between maximum pressure on the Maduro government
without full commitment to armed conflict."
U.S. SouthCom "has
described its position as one of readiness, not war.
But this could change, especially with the much
-anticipated 2025 national defense review expected to
prioritize countering the perceived threat of Chinese
interference in the Western Hemisphere."
The U.S. Secretary of
War, Pete Hegseth has recently said the U.S. is preparing
for war with China or Russia...not Venezuela. At the
Tuesday meeting with hundreds of general and flag officers,
Hegseth "emphasized a focus on warfighting capabilities and
standards that will prepare the US military for a fight with
China or Russia."
"In his remarks, Hegseth
repeatedly mentioned that speed is of the essence and that
the time is now for the US military to prepare for a
near-peer conflict." (That would be with Russia and/or
China.) Russia has been tied up with the Ukraine war
for several years.
China hasn't been
depleting it's weapons on other conflicts like the US has
recently. So they have been stockpiling warships,
combat aircraft, nuclear weapons, hypersonic missiles, main
battle tanks, etc. "China's goal is clear:
achieve regional supremacy and directly challenge US global
hegemony."
Hegseth is trying to
prepare our military, after years of DEI, men in dresses,
lax physical standards and poor training, to be physically
fit and combat ready. This will not only save our
soldier's lives, but is necessary for national security and
defense of the homeland.
The Pentagon, this last
week, sent a letter to Congress, telling them the "US is
engaged in a 'non-international armed conflict' with Latin
American drug cartels." The letter further stated that
the US "has now reached a critical point where we must use
force in self-defense and defense of others against the
ongoing attacks" by terrorist organizations.
Five US fighter jets
flew near the coast of Venezuela. The Defense Minister
of Venezuela Vladimir Padrino "described the incident as a
"provocation" by the United States that posed a threat to
national security. They are combat aircraft."
The jets were F-35s flying at 400 knots at 35,000 feet some
46 miles off the Venezuelan coastline
After President Maduro
announced a 'state of emergency' in Venezuela, Venezuelan
armed forces "deployed a number of assets to respond to the
emerging threat from the United States." The
Venezuelan government has place the armed forces on "high
alert in response to "growing military threats from the
United States. The militarization of civilian
infrastructure, and the placing of ground, air, sea and
cyber assets in a state of immediate readiness for
war. And they have armed Su-30MK2 long range fighters
with anti-ship missiles. "The Venezuelan has deployed
submarines and surface assets near important maritime
corridors."
Russia could help arm
Venezuela, like the US is helping arm Ukraine - especially
if the US sends Tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine to use
deep inside on Russia's infrastructure.
Another hot spot in the
world.
As for the Latin
American danger zone - watch Venezuela.
As for the European
danger zone, watch Poland.
