I've been wondering about all the imprecatory things that David wrote, like cast them alive into hell, Let death seize upon them, etc. 

The LORD is long suffering, but there is a day when he will allow his wrath to break forth, and his vengeance.

So could David be prophetically picturing Jesus' emotions of wrath, that he will righteously have on the day he returns?
