"RE: Chance: 10.06.24: attack on unwalled villages"

Chance that was a great letter.
I really agree with your analogy:

Not a peep about the evil Charters of Muslim countries that cry out  "from the river to the sea".  These charters are fine with the U.N., the U.S. etc.  (What if the powerful Mexican cartels had such a charter for the U.S. - "from the Atlantic to the Pacific" and were lobbing hundreds of bombs over into Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California?  And the U.N. wanted the U.S. to cede off those states to Mexico - in exchange for "peace and security"??  Well.... under Biden-Harris, they'd probably gladly cede those states to Mexico.  President Trump would blast them to you know where.)

But then you said something that stopped me in my tracks:
So THEY are promising peace and security for Israel, IF Israel agrees to a two-state solution with pre-67 Israeli borders.  Netanyahu and other Jews in Israel know this is unsustainable for the survival of Israel and they know that the enemies of Israel are sworn to the destruction of Israel - Iran and the Twelvers, the Houthis, Hezbollah and Hamas.

That presents a totally different perspective on what Paul said to the Thessalonians:

I Thessalonians 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

All the years since I have been saved, I have thought that this was referring to people saying that they, themselves, have peace and safety.
Reading your letter, I now see how those words could be spoken by Israel's enemies (surrounding muslim nations, but also the UN, the EU, and the current US administration).
That the peace and safety is what they are saying that Israel will have, if they would only pull back to the pre-67 borders.
And if they give at least half of Jerusalem, all these things so that there can be a "palestinian" state.
But then, will the UN repeat the steps they took in regard to Kuwait, but this time in regard to a nonexistent "palestinian" state?

UNITED NATIONS SECURITY COUNCIL RESOLUTIONS

PERTAINING TO THE IRAQI INVASION OF KUWAIT

PURPOSE:

To provide, for discussion purposes, excerpts of United Nations Security Council resolutions concerning the current Persian Gulf crisis.

The following resolutions are excerpted herein:

1.     No. 660, Aug. 2, 1990; condemns Iraqi invasion of Kuwait.

2.     No. 661, Aug. 6, 1990; imposes sanctions against Iraq.

3.     No. 662, Aug. 9, 1990; declares Iraqi annexation of Kuwait null and void.

4.     No. 664, Aug. 18, 1990; demands Iraq release foreigners.

5.     No. 665, Aug. 25, 1990; allows use of force to enforce sanctions.

6.     No. 666, Sept. 14, 1990; addresses import of food for humanitarian purposes.

7.     No. 667, Sept. 17, 1990; condemns Iraq's violation of embassies.

8.     No. 670, Sept. 25, 1990; imposes air embargo against Iraq.

Will the UN repeat those steps against Israel, up to and including the UN "allowing use of force" to enforce sanctions?
Will that result, similar to the coalition against Iraq in 1990, a coalition of the nations of the world?
There was first Operation Desert Shield, where the coalition forces amassed prior to conflict.
Could this time, the world's coalition forces amass around Israel, predominantly in what will be called at that time, Armageddon?
But this time in history, the name may not simply reflect the area of Megiddo, but could it then reflect a 2,000 year use of the word Armageddon?
To the world, and even to Israel, the use of that name, over the past 80 years especially, has come to reflect the final battle.
Like the world uses the term apocalypse, or apocalyptic, as no longer meaning revealing, but has come to mean world-ending type things.
So, perhaps the Israeli government, or the Israeli media, may refer to this location of the amassing of world's forces, Armageddon.

Revelation 16:14b  to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

Perhaps in our time, the phrase, "a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon", may mean what the Israeli government or media may refer to it as.
Since they may very well consider it end of the world, or at least end of Israel, type of amassing of military forces.
Either way, the forces of the world will be so deceived and deluded, that they will think of what they are about to do, as finally bringing "peace and safety".
Their attempt, by force, to make the land from the river to the sea free, free of Jews, and their attempt to do the same with Jerusalem, will not end as they hope.
As they will be killing Jews in Judea and Samaria, and as they take half of Jerusalem, and are assaulting the final half, they may be shouting in perceived victory.
In their madness and bloodlust, they may actually be shouting, "peace and safety!", thinking that their final solution as now at hand.
When, as the words are spewing out of their mouths, the heavens rip open, and they look up and see Jesus coming.
And what they thought was imminent total victory, will turn out to be imminent total sudden destruction.
