Donna,Is it possible that Nebuchadnezzar's golden statue of Daniel chapter 3, was standing upon are large pedestal? The typical waist to height of a man is 0.428, and less for a woman. The dimensions in Daniel 3 are :
Daniel 3:1 Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.
The width to height of the full image is only 0.1 (6 cubits/60 cubits)
So the expected height of the image that would be that of a man would be 0.428 * 60 = 25.68 cubits, or ~26 cubitsThat would leave 34 cubits for the base, or 0.572 of the full height
The statue of liberty's pedestal is 154/265 = 0.58 of the full height, which is very similar.
btw - I never caught it before, until I read your letter, that the all gold of the image in chapter 3,is because the head on the image in chapter 2 is gold. and is identified with Nebuchadnezzar himself.for years I missed the connection.
