It's bad enough that Starlink satellites are causing major headaches for astronomers. There are swarms of satellites teeming above our planet now. In the article below (see link) China has joined in with their version of Starlink. Dubbed 'Thousand Sails' these Chinese satellites are in competition with Starlink. Hmmm! I can't see this ending well. The details in the article are extremely informative.
As an aside - this has all got me wondering about whether some (if not the majority) of these seemingly benign satellites are weaponised? There is a war on for space dominance which is not being talked about.
