Hi John and Doves,

 

Please forgive my lack of responses and letters to Doves this week. I have been struck down with the most yucky flu. I am slowly getting better but it has been quite a week. Thanks to Almighty God that I have all that I need to recover.

 

I have kept up with most of the news but it all became a bit much. On a loop. Repeat, repeat, repeat. The Milton Hurricane disaster went from the media coverage of "Get out now or your home will become your coffin" to what it is now. Mainstream media sounded almost disappointed that Florida was not wiped out. I mean, they hyped it up enough - why didn't it cooperate already? I have learned some very valuable things this week of enforced bed rest. I am now over 1000% sure that all governments of the world are stupid. Incompetent and ignorant. Selfish and thuggishly stupid. The 2nd lesson is that the media are a factory. Churning out one outrageous lie after another. If their story doesn't pan out, they pout a little and then move on swiftly to the next talking point. The whole system is now ridiculous. It has done me the power of good to step away from the frenetic headlines that bash away at us, day after day. I have been watching cute baby/parent video shorts. Crying hot, phlegmy tears over the love and humanity. I have watched happy videos of people helping each other out - again crying hot, feverish tears  (I have had quite a high fever - nearly gone now). I have revelled in the evidence of the sheer beauty of the majority of human beings. This is the real world of ordinary humans. NOT the sheer crap we are presented with by the media.

 

I have also had some fascinating fever dreams. There is no doubt that our precious LORD Jesus is arriving soon. It's all a matter of Almighty God's timing. Today is Yom Kippur. My prayers are with the Jewish people. With Israel. This current suffering will not last much longer.
