Israel is being backed even further into a corner. If they accept this offer of a 'Defence Treaty' with America, Israel will be beholden to jumping through hoops to obey the Biden administration's orders. The article in the link is a brilliant explanation as to why Israel must reject this defence treaty. Quoting from the article:-
" As part of the trilateral negotiations between Israel, Saudi Arabia and the United States, talk of an American-Israeli defence treaty is in the air. A defence treaty with the U.S. will lead to the infringement of Israeli sovereignty and the disappearance of our tradition of defending ourselves that has assured Israel's existence since before the establishment of the state". I believe that the Biden administration will make it nigh on impossible for Israel to refuse this duplicitous offer. Once Israel signs onto this nefarious 'defence treaty', the USA will call the shots. Two-state solution incoming, methinks. The division of Jerusalem with East Jerusalem becoming the 'capital of the Palestinians'?? The foot is definitely on the gas pedal now. We must pray hard for the peace of Jerusalem. A peace that only LORD Jesus can bring.
