This is in response to your 10/02 post RE: Nansings: 09.24.23: ancient Babylon (fivedoves.com)  in which you stated "Abraham wasn't born until about 13 years after Noah had died, but Shem was still alive."

Noah was born 1056 years after the creation of Adam, and Shem was born in 1556 when Noah was age 500.  Noah lived for 950 years and died 2006 years after the creation of Adam.  Abraham was born 1948 years after the creation of Adam so Noah was alive at Abraham's birth, and didn't die until 58 years after Abraham was born.

The Bible doesn't say in what year Nimrod was born or when he died. He was the son of Cush who was the son of Ham born in 1556 who was the son of Noah.  However, the Bible in Genesis 10:9-10 states that the beginning of Nimrod's kingdom was Babel.
