Hello John and Doves,
In my other letter today about
this Hamas-Israel war I noted that Hezbollah was in talks
with Egypt - they said if Israel sends ground troops into
Gaza, they will send troops into Israel. That was
their red line in this war.
Well, I came across this article
where Hamas said "We have started a total battle!"
"All scenarios are now possible and we are ready
for an Israeli ground invasion." Whether
Hamas intended for Hezbollah to join on their own or get
'drug' into this war, I don't know. But it looks
like Hamas planned to 'somehow' get Hezbollah to enter the
war; Hamas knew they'd have to do some serious
attacks on civilians and IDF soldiers to get Israel to
decide they have no choice but to enter Gaza. Hamas,
knowing that Hezbollah wouldn't enter this war unless the
IDF ground troops entered Gaza - needed a hook to drag
Israel in. So now they are expecting their planned
ground invasion. That's what this looks like.
An Israel Commander revealed
1/12/2023 that "his soldiers were planning to mount a
ground offensive into the Gaza Strip should another break
out between the Israel Defense Forces and the Palestinian
fighters..." This was announced via Newsweek.
So Hamas was aware of this plan. And they may be
using this to their advantage in getting Hezbollah
involved this time.

And maybe
Iran will join in. And maybe Russia will join in.
Hamas and Hezbollah historically
seem to keep their 'skirmishes' separate...but Hamas knows
it needs the help of Hezbollah to reach their goals.
Don't know if this is the start
of the Gog war, but Russian and Iranian troops are on the
border in southern Syria. They aren't there for the
fun of it. They were positioned there for an attack
on Israel...at some point. There will be a 'hook' to
pull them in...something will move them to attack Israel.
