Revelation Chapters 2 & 3 Verse 9"

Dear Mike and Doves:
Thanks for the feedback. I quit playing defense a
while ago. If your assessment of my writings is
correct (and it may be), then I trust the Lord to
confirm it with two or three witnesses. So far,
the feedback I get when posting, either here or to my
blog, has been overwhelmingly positive. But if you
don't find anything of value, then don't waste your time
reading my comments. It's too late in the game for
me to be offended.
By the way, I AM sarcastic. Even cynical. I
think a LOT of folks, maybe initially with good
intentions, have gone off to Bible school or seminary
and have become toxic to the body. This is why the
church has become essentially irrelevant. It's no
accident.
I've looked honestly at "mid-Acts dispensationalism" and
find it problematic, as well as a distraction.
Christianity is not essentially the study of theology or
church history. It's discipleship: preparing
to stand in the presence of Jesus Christ. The Bema
seat judgment is not a written test on Bible
knowledge. It's an evaluation of character and
maturity. Most church activity, directed by
"professional Christians" does NOT help believers grow
up in Christ, and that is a MAJOR problem.
I've posted a few things on my blog addressing this
issue.
Hope to see you soon. Thanks again - sincerely -
for your views.
Best,
Steve
