Dear John and Doves:

My conclusion is that we can expect deliverance-by-rapture any day now. And I conclude “any day now” by working back from a probable beginning of the Millennial Reign of King Jesus. I expect that event to signal the conclusion of the “agenda items” in Daniel 9:24. Six things must be completed. The foundation for completion was laid 2,000 years ago with Jesus’ fulfillment of the spring feasts. This was accomplished AFTER the “seven-weeks-and-sixty-two-weeks.”

So far, so good … theoretically. When might the items in Daniel 9:24 be completed? My conjecture is during the fall feasts at some time in the future. My current “working time-frame” is 2029, with the Millennium beginning on Shemini Atzeret, on (or about, since there are various calendars) October 1, 2029. If that is the final day of Daniel’s 70th week, then backing up 2,550 days would take us to the beginning of the week. Day #1 would then be this coming October 8th, 18 days from today.

As you can see, there are lots of assumptions, any one of which being incorrect would break the model. The assumptions are:

• The Millennium begins immediately after Daniel 9:24 is fulfilled, in October 2029
• The Hebrew calendar in use is correct
• Daniel’s 70th week has exactly 2550 days
• We are currently on the threshold of the 70th week

In view of current events, the beginning of global judgment in the very near term seems extremely likely. I need not elaborate. If it’s as late as I think it is, then the “confirmation of the covenant” is about three weeks out. I expect that confirmation to be a post-World-War-3 event though that’s not really necessary. But you wanted my opinion, right?

That being said, I was sniffing through this blog and landed on the item I posted on October 7th of last year. I don’t recall “rapture fever” being at nearly the level then as it is now. Still, The World We’re Leaving Behind is still relevant. I hope you will read and consider what I wrote.

My expectation going forward is: rapture (perhaps this week), and then the war in Ukraine goes hot and goes global (with Chinese activity against Taiwan), the deliberate collapse of global economies, the “confirmation of the covenant” which I believe is described in Rev. 7:4, a short but intense period of global persecution against remaining Christians as the Mark of the Beast economic system is put in place, and the beginning of The Dragon’s 42-month Global Reign of Terror beginning on about December 22nd.

I’ve offered similar conjectures in the past, and have been wrong every time. You won’t be any worse off if you’re prepared for the possibility that I’m right (or very close). If HebCal is a month off, then re-read this on October 20th, adjusting all dates accordingly. If I’m right, I will see you soon!
