Another bible mystery in Zechariah 9. This time is about the identity of Antichrist.


Zechariah 9 is divided into two parts. The first part is prophecies against Israel's enemies from verse 1 to 7. They are Damascus ( Syria),
 Tyrus, Zidon ( Lebanon), Ashkelon, Gaza, Philistines ( Hamas ). They are the participants in Amos 4th transgression and the three shepherds war in Zechariah 11. This battle occurs before the rapture, almost at the beginning of tribulation. End result is in
 verse 7 and 8.




Zechariah 9:7 but he that remaineth, even he, shall be for our God, and he shall be as a governor in Judah, and Ekron as a Jebusite.




8 And I will encamp about mine house because of the army, because of him that passeth by, and because of him that returneth: and no oppressor
 shall pass through them any more: for now have I seen with mine eyes.




Those from Gaza and Philistine who survive this battle shall be subjugated to Judah, and Ekron as a Jebusite. Below is the explanation of
 "Ekron as a Jebusite".




" Ekron as a Jebusite—The Jebusites, the original inhabitants of Jerusalem, who, when subjugated by David, were incorporated with the Jews
 (2Sa 24:16, &c.), and enjoyed their privileges: but in a subordinate position civilly (1Ki 9:20, 21). The Jebusites' condition under Solomon being that of bond-servants and tributaries,"




The Palestinians and Arabs who mingle with the Jews in Israel shall become subordinate, bond- servants and tributaries to the Jews. And God
 shall encamp in Israel, so that no more oppressors shall trouble Israel. This speaks of the first half of tribulation.




Beginning from verse 9, prophecy has been shifted to the end of tribulation, Christ's second coming to Jerusalem. This is the second part
 of Zechariah 9.




9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation;
 lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.




10 And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace
 unto the heathen: and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from the river even to the ends of the earth.




Verse 9 has been fulfilled when Jesus rode the donkey to Jerusalem in Palm Sunday 33 AD. Verse 10 is still waiting for it's fulfillment. It
 shall be fulfilled when Jesus returns to Jerusalem, and speaks peace to all nations. His dominion shall be to the ends of the earth. Verse 11 to 17 goes further to explain what Jesus shall do after he returns to Jerusalem. He shall strikes the enemies of Israel,
 known as sons of Greece.




11 As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water.




12 Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even to day do I declare that I will render double unto thee;




These two verses are encouragement to the Jews, remind them of the blood covenant Jesus has with them, that they should turn to him, or else
 God shall render double unto them. Verse 14 to 17 are Jesus shall save his people Israelis. But my focus is in verse 13.




13 When I have bent Judah for me, filled the bow with Ephraim, and raised up thy sons, O Zion, against thy sons, O Greece, and made thee as
 the sword of a mighty man.




This verse speaks of the second half of tribulation, when Jesus purges Judah, he raises sons of Zion/ the Jews against sons of Greece. From
 Daniel 8:22-23, little horn shall come from one of the four empires after Alexander's death. The four empires are Egypt, Seleucid, Asia Minor and Greece/Macedon. In Zechariah 9, God has given us the answer where little horn shall come from. He shall come from
 Greece, and in much simplicity, God has nicknamed little horn as "Greece". Sons of Greece are not the biological sons of Greece, but they are the followers of this Greece. They are different kindred, ethnic groups, different races from all over the world.
 They have determined to pledge allegiance to this Greece, after they have taken the mark of the beast. Together with their leader Greece, they have determined to wipe the Jews off the map. Having said this, little horn shall come from Greece. But according
 to the prince to come in Daniel 9:26 and the lady of kingdoms in Isaiah 47, little horn shall come from Rome. To be more exact, Vatican. So we have to look for a Cardinal whose ancestors can be traced back to Greece. So far I have Cardinal Mario Grech. His
 ancestors came from Greece, settled in Malta. His surname Grech simply means Greece. Sons of Greece possibly refers to sons of Grech. We are called sons of God because we choose to follow Jesus. We have become sons of God. Sons of Greece can be referred to
 those who choose to follow Cardinal Grech/Greece. By this cause, God calls them sons of Greece/Grech. We shall find this out very soon in the next Papal conclave.
