Can we believe it? 400 years affliction of
Abraham's seed is solved. It began in year 2179 when
Jacob started working for his uncle Laban. Laban used
his daughter Rachel to trick Jacob to work 20 years for
him. He changed Jacob's wages ten times. God also saw
Jacob's affliction during this period (Genesis
31:42).
And the affliction of Abraham's seed
continued when Jacob and his sons and servants went down
to Egypt in year 2238. Four generation stayed in Egypt
for 300 years. It was in year 2538 ( after the
sojourning of the children of Israel is over ) when
Moses took the Israelis out from Egypt. But because of
their disbelief in God that the promised land is full of
honey and milk, God left them in wilderness for 40 years
( 41 years when we add the one year they stayed in Mount
Sinai ).
Finally their affliction is ended in year
2579 ( 2538 + 41 ) when they entered the promised land.
It is because God has promised Abraham that his seed
would only suffer 400 years affliction prior to them
inherit the promised land. Adding 400 years to 2179 when
Jacob suffered from his uncle Laban, year 2579 is the
year God would end their affliction, by allowing them to
enter the promised land.
Imagine they didn't mumble against God
after they left Egypt, and they believe the report of
Joshua and Caleb, then there wouldn't be 40 years in
wilderness. When this is the case, then 400 years
affliction couldn't work because it would be shortened
by 40 years to 360 years. But God is omnipotent and
omnipresent, He foresaw the disbelief of
Israelis in Him after He took them out from Egypt, so He
has added this 40 years to make it a total of 400 years
affliction. Same logic to 7 years tribulation. He knew
Israelis will not return to Jesus after the battle of
Gog Magog, so He added 1290 days 1335 days in the second
half of tribulation to refine and purge them. Imagine if
the Jews turn to Jesus after the battle of Gog/Magog,
then there will not be a second half of tribulation
needed. Then Daniel's 70 weeks prophecy has to be
rewritten.
