"October 31st"

Is it possible, that after Martin Luther nailed his 95 theses to the door of the church in Wittenberg,
on October 31, 1517, that this day began to be a day of death for the catholic church,
so that from that time on, they made that day more and more occultic, and about death?
So, this time, on the Lord's day, a week from now, on October 31st,
perhaps we should refer to it as Reformation Day, rather than Halloween?
