Will the ark of the covenant be found, or brought out, in time for the tribulation temple?

II Thessalonians 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

After all, what will the antichrist be sitting on, in the temple?

Presumably he will not be sitting on the table of shewbread?

Also, he won't be sitting on the altar of incense?

Also, he probably won't be bringing a folding, garden chair, into the temple?

So, will he, in total blasphemy, actually sit upon the mercy seat, on top of the ark?

Is it not called a mercy seat, after all?

Is that how he will attempt to show himself to be God?

Will it be an earthly representation of the following?

Isaiah 14:13b I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

  14b I will be like the most High.

Will the devil enter the antichrist to do this, like he did Judas, to betray Jesus?
