"THE FIRSTFRUITS RESURRECTION OF JESUS IS THE PATTERN"


THE 'FIRSTFRUITS RESURRECTION' OF JESUS IS THE PATTERN FOR THE COMING 'FIRSTFRUITS RESURRECTION' OF THE CHURCH.........

Leviticus 23:10-12 and  23:15-17 describe two distinct 'Feasts of Firstfruits' which celebrate two distinct 'Firstfruit  resurrections'. The first of the two is the 'Firstfruits of the Dead' resurrection which was fulfilled by Jesus Christ at  His resurrection from the dead. The second of the two 'Feasts of Firstfruits' is the 'Firstfruits of the Spirit' resurrection which will be fulfilled at the coming resurrection  / rapture of His Body of Christ Church.

Because the 'Firstfruits of the Dead' resurrection of Jesus Christ is the pattern,  i.e., blueprint, for the future 'Firstfruits of the Spirit' resurrection / rapture of His Body of Christ Church, we can now know more details about our own coming 'Firstfruits of the Spirit' resurrection / rapture. At the time Jesus issued the following statement, "But of that day and  hour knoweth no man " ( Matthew 24:36 ) it was BEFORE He fulfilled the first  'Feast of Firstfruits' as the 'Firstfruits of the Dead' which then SET THE PATTERN for the future fulfillment of the 'Firstfruits of the Spirit' resurrection that is the coming resurrection / rapture of His Body of Christ Church. 

The two wave offerings described in Leviticus were ordained to occur on the "the day AFTER the Sabbath" which is Sunday , "the first day of the week" according to:

Mark 16:9 "Now WHEN Jesus was risen EARLY ON THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK, He appeared  first to Mary....".  Therefore, Jesus resurrected as the 'Firstfruits of the Dead' on A SUNDAY after the Sabbath.

SO, THERE YOU HAVE IT :

The PATTERN WAS SET , by  Jesus  Himself, for our coming 'Firstfruits of the Spirit' resurrection  / rapture of His Body of Christ Church . We  NOW know,  according to Scripture,  that THE DAY OF OUR 'FIRSTFRUITS OF THE SPIRIT' RESURRECTION / RAPTURE WILL OCCUR EARLY ON A SUNDAY   which will be soon after sunset at the end of the Sabbath according to the pattern set by Jesus  Himself.
