THE TWO 'FIRSTFRUITS WAVE OFFERINGS' ARE PROPHECIES OF TWO FUTURE 'FIRSTFRUITS RESURRECTIONS'........
The two 'firstfruits wave offerings' spoken of in Leviticus 23:10-12 and 23:15-17 are both prophecies of 'firstfruits resurrections'. The first of the two 'firstfruits wave offerings' is the prophecy of the resurrection of the "Firstfruits of the Dead" which was fulfilled by the resurrection of Jesus Christ on the Feast of Firstfruits the day after three days in the grave . The second of the two 'firstfruits wave offerings' is the prophecy of the resurrection of the 'Firstfruits of the Spirit' which is yet to be fulfilled by the future resurrection / rapture of Jesus's Body of Christ Church.
#1 THE FIRST WAVE OFFERING which is the PROPHECY of the 'FIRSTFRUITS OF THE DEAD' resurrection of Jesus Christ that He fulfilled on the Feast of Firstfruits on Sunday after three days in the grave :
Leviticus 23:10-12
".....You shall reap the harvest thereof , then you shall bring a sheave of the FIRSTFRUITS of your harvest unto the Priest. And he shall wave the sheaf before the Lord to be accepted for you ON THE MORROW AFTER THE SABBATH the Priest shall wave it. And you shall also offer that day, when you wave the sheaf, A HE LAMB WITHOUT BLEMISH of the first year for a burnt offering unto the Lord."
The phrase, " A HE LAMB WITHOUT BLEMISH" can represent no other than Jesus Christ Himself who was to become THE SINLESS LAMB OF GOD , and He was resurrected to heaven by God on the Feast of Firstfruits on the morrow after the Sabbath, which was Firstfruits Sunday, the first day of the week following three days in the grave thereby fulfilling the prophecy of THE FIRST WAVE OFFERING according to :
1 Corinthians 15:20 ( Firstfruits of the Dead )
"But now Christ is risen from the dead and became the FIRSTFRUITS OF THEM THAT SLEPT."
#2 THE SECOND WAVE OFFERING which is the yet unfulfilled PROPHECY of the 'FIRSTFRUITS OF THE SPIRIT' resurrection / rapture of the Body of Christ Church :
Leviticus 23:15-17
"And you shall count from the morrow after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering, seven Sabbaths shall be complete. Even unto the morrow after the seventh Sabbath shall you number fifty days ( Pentecost Sunday ), and you shall offer a new meat offering unto the Lord. You shall bring out of your habitations TWO WAVE LOAVES of two-tenth deals, they shall be of fine flour; they shall be BAKED WITH LEAVEN , and THEY ARE THE FIRSTFRUITS unto the Lord .
Pentecost Sunday was the day that God sent the Holy Spirit into the world to build His Body of Christ Church which is to be resurrected / raptured to heaven in the future. The "two wave loaves baked with leaven" , which represents sin, EACH LOAF REPRESENTS ONE OF THE TWO distinct groups that will be caught-up , ie. ascend, TOGETHER to meet the Lord in the air. One WAVE LOAF represents the 'DEAD IN CHRIST' that will resurrect from corruptible to incorruptible from the dead FIRST , and then in turn the second WAVE LOAF represents the 'LIVING IN CHRIST' that will be changed from mortal to immortal , ie. raptured, in "THE TWINKLING OF AN EYE" thereby fulfilling the prophecy of THE SECOND WAVE OFFERING according to :
Roman 8:23 ( Firstfruits of the Spirit )
"And not only they, but ourselves also, WHO HAVE THE FIRSTFRUITS OF THE SPIRIT, even we ourselves groan within WAITING FOR THE ADOPTION to wit , THE REDEMPTION OF OUR BODIES."
SO, THERE YOU HAVE IT :
The two wave offerings of Leviticus 23 are BOTH PROPHECIES of two resurrections; the first being the 'Firstfruits of the Dead' resurrection which was fulfilled by Jesus at His resurrection from the dead, and the second is the future 'Firstfruits of the Spirit' resurrection / rapture which will be fulfilled when the Body of Christ Church is resurrected / raptured to heaven by Jesus.
