INTRODUCTION
The
words, “volcano” or “volcanoes” is
never found anywhere in the Bible.However, the inspired Word speaks of the hills and
mountainsmelting
three times in the Scriptures;
Amos 9:5, 9:13, and Nahum 1:5.What could
this mean, other than being areference to
volcanoes?Read these passages and decide for yourself.
KRAKATOA
In
writingthis
study, I ask our readers to
bear with me for I no longer have all of the detailed
information about
Krakatoa which I once had. I
once had a
file on Krakatoa, setting forth every detail about it.But my file was
ruined by water damage
several years ago and was discarded.Therefore, in this study, I am setting forth only the
major details
which I remember.I
am writing this
study in view of what is happening in the Canary Islands off
the coast of
Portugal, even as I write.
KRAKATOA IN HISTORY
In past
history, Krakato was supposedly an
“extinct” volcano, which probably had it’s beginning at some
point following
the flood in the days of Noah.It had
shown no signs of activity for centuries, and therefore was
regarded as being
“extinct.”Isn’t
is strange that a number
of volcanoes mankind has regarded as being “extinct” have
suddenly roared back
into life, by suddenly erupting during
the past two hundred years?
One of
those volcanoes was Krakatoa.It was a large mountain locatedon the island of
Krakatoa. Suddenly, at some
point,, I believe it was in
the 1800’s, this ancient volcanoe began shaking all over, and
then began erupting.I don’t remember the exact dates.
But a short
time after erupting, Krakato
suddenly EXPLODED.It
was such a violent
explosion that it destroyed the entire island on which it was
located.Historians
say that the sound of the
explosion was so loud that it was reportedly heard 3,000 miles
away.
The
sudden explosion of Krakatoa created
giant tidal waves in the ocean around it.These tidal waves reportedly had some effect on the
coast lines of sea
coast nations around the world.At the
time, it was estimated that 35,000
people were killed by the explosion, and the tidal waves which
followed.There
likely would have been many more,
except at that time in history, the coastal areas were not
populated with as
many people as they are today.
This
is about allthe
general information I can recall without
my file on Krakatoa.But
today as I
write, there is…….
A COUNTERPART
A few
weeks ago the supposedly “extinct” La
Palma volcanoe in the Canary Islands off the coast of Portugal
began
erupting.This
volcanoe has been the
object of study by volcanologists for many years.Some 15 years ago
(or more), I read a
fascinating article about this supposedly “extinct” volcano.In a computer
analysis of the information
obtained by geologists about La Palma, it was determined that
the volcano was
not “extinct” at all, but was only temporarily “dormant.”The scientists knew
back then, that at
sometime in the future, La Palma would begin erupting again,
and with
disasterous results.From
careful
examination bygeologists
and other
scientists, it was determined that a vast cauldron of molten
fire and lava was
located deep in the earth beneath La Palma.This resulted in La Palma being classified as one of
the “super”
volcanoes located on the earth’s surface.
It was
also determined that a crack in the
side of La Palma, was slowly opening , beginning from the top
and descending
down the side towards sea level.The
scientists determined that when this crack reached sea level,
sea water would
begin pouring into the fiery magma chamber, and would be
turned into
steam.This
trapped steam would build up
high pressure until, at some point, the entire volcano would
EXPLODE with a
force not known by mankind at that time..Running this information through a computer, the
computer determined
that such an explosion would create giant tidal waves in the
ocean, unlike
anything mankind living today has ever seen.The computer projection was that these giant tidal
waves would strike
the east coast of America, and many other sea coast nations,,
and would cause
massive death and destruction.I
emphasize that this information was known by scientists 15
years (or more)
ago.
THE WICKEDNESS OF MAN
This
information was just too good an
opportunity for Satan and his followers to miss.Why did La Palma go
into eruption right at
this time in human history; the “last days,” or “ end times.”
according to
inspired Bible prophecy?Why at this
particular time?I
suggest the New World
Order’s plan for reducing the population of mankind upon the
earth.
I have
recently received reports that
scientists have been bombarding La Palma with sound waves for
several
years.I have no
way of verifying these
reports, so readers can decide for themselves the validity and
importance of
them.These
sound waves were designed
to move or liquefy the interior of La Palma, causing it to
begin erupting.According
to the reports I received, the
sound waves are now being directed downward into the interior
of the earth
beneath La Palma, with the intention of building up steam
pressure beneath the
volcano until it EXPLODES.
If
this report is true (?), then it
certainly fits the time frame laid out in God’s prophetic Word
for the soon
coming Tribulation period.It would also
explain why the Lord’s coming to resurrect and rapture His
church and believing
people is right at the doors, Mattrhew 24:32-33.The Lord promised
His church and people that
he would never agqain bring upon them such a burden as they
were under during
the “Dark Ages,” Revelation 2:24; 3:10.The Lord always keeps His promises!
