"Jesus Coming.....when we least expect him"

I was reminded of Matthew 24:44, as This last Jewish holiday came and went and then the adjusted date a month later. Of course there are many more passages that speak of this time we are witnessing. But Matthew 24:44 sums it up nicely. “So you also must be ready, because the son of man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.” This is taking on an even more important meaning now.

Since so many of us have expected him on so many different dates, or at least hoped, perhaps we can take a deeper look in on some other passages which also are relevant to the Lord's soon Rapture event.

First, who is expecting him? We are! The watchers on the wall, the prophets and prophetesses. We’ve been expecting him at least since the blood moons of 2013-14 Who isn’t expecting him? The scoffers, at least half the church and the rest of the world.

For one, it should be obvious now that our bridegroom is delayed and has been for a while. Matthew 25:5. But Delayed from what? How about expected dates that will come and go. Since all scripture must be fulfilled, no date regardless of the method used can be correct, because it would violate several passages.

He also told us not to follow those who would say “the time is near, Luke 21:8. But at the same time, the date setters are a sign in and of themselves that he’s coming soon, it just can’t be exactly when they say.

Also we have Matthew 24:33, that says when you see these endtime signs occuring, know the time is near, even at the doors. Matthew 24:33.

But what of the physical 2nd Coming of Revelation19? Since we know Jesus  was talking about the Rapture event more than anything else, because that is the event that sets everything else in motion including the official start of the last tribulation period. Then can we can figure out the Revelation 19 coming and work backwards from that?

Some have done that and I applaud them, because that is certainly the event that WILL be able to be calculated even to the day. Even more so, when the soon to occur Rapture event occurs.

If you think about that day, whose description is totally different from Rapture language ie: Armies and the Lord himself on white horseback vs. Angels gathering the elect. Who is there to return for at that point?

Only those who have accepted the mark of the beast. The Tribulation saints, (which is the tribulation church), will have been beheaded and killed by then. The only thing that happens at this event is the total innailation of the antichrist and his followers.

So some have said that 2028 is the 2nd coming, with all their very good reasons, obviously working back from that is this year 2021, when the Rapture is likely to occur, but still when least expected. And when is that? After these dates have come and gone, because none of them can be right.

My feeling is, he’s even more at the doorstep now, then he was before. This is still likely the year he’s coming, but just not exactly when we expect.

What we can all definitely say is, we can know that we are the generation that will see the end of all things, because Jesus said those who see the beginning of the birth pangs, will see the end of them and everything else.

Since I think the end times birth pangs started around the year 2000, (the earthquake charts alone prove this and now many parts of the earth are constantly shaking), we can know with confidence that our redemption still draws near. Nearer than ever.

I was looking for cover with in the Rosh Hashanah holiday, because it covers 2 days, and I figured, that’s not predicting the exact day or hour, which it isn’t, but it was violating the coming when he’s least expected passage.

So he’s still coming, and now it’s closer than ever, but it’s when we least expect him.

God bless the doves,
