I remain convinced that the Armenia/Azerbaijan conflict is a cover for something bigger. I am also convinced that Turkey, itself, is a proxy for a much bigger power. I wish I could find the YT clip I watched recently where Erdogan made a speech about this war. Included in the speech, Erdogan included a few words about how Turkey is against Russia's illegal annexation of Crimea. Interesting! It may have seemed that Russia had gotten away with that one. In spite of a few grumblings from the other world powers - nobody did anything about it. That Erdogan brought it up - deliberately and pointedly - tells us that nobody has forgotten about it.
