Hello John and Doves,
The month of Cheshvan, the
eighth month of the Hebrew calendar, is also called
Marcheshvan - Mar means bitter - a month of 'fear and
worry'. Of hardship and judgment.
"Cheshvan is the only
month which has no holidays or special mitzvot. We
are taught that it is "reserved" for the time of
Mashiach..."
"Cheshvan, the eighth
month, is the month of Mashiach, because eight signifies
the eternal revelation of the supernatural...".
Cheshvan is spelled with
the Hebrew letters: chet shin nun
chet: wall, outside,
divide, half equates to the number 8
Chet is short for life and the letter resembles a
doorwary. It is the letter of light - a 'doorway of
light from Heaven'.
shin: sharp, press, eat,
two equates to the number 300 Shin also
stands for the word Shaddai - one of the names of God.
nun: seed, heir,
son equates to the number 50 It is
considered to be the letter of Mashiach - as a verb it
means "to reign", as a noun it means "the heir to the
throne". The Sages believe that this letter also
represents the reward for faithfulness.
Even though this month
does not have any High Holy Days - it is an important
month historically.
On 10 Cheshvan, God shut
Noah, his family and the animals in the ark.
On 11 Cheshvan,
Methusalach/Methuselah died. He was 969 years
old. Methuselah was the son of Enoch and the father
of Lamach and the grandfather of Noah. And Noah was
600 years old when Methuselah died and the Flood
started. Enoch was a prophet and "under a spirit of
prophecy, foretelling by it when the Flood should
be; for his name...signifies "when he dies there
shall be an emission," or sending forth of waters upon the
earth, to destroy it..." "In fact, Methuselah may have
helped Noah in the construction phase of the Ark".
"If you match up the ages of the patriarchs, Methuselah
died the same year as the Flood." In Greek,
Methuselah means "when he dies, there shall be an
emission".

On 17 Cheshvan, the Great
Flood started.
On 27 Cheshvan, the Great
Flood ended.
"There are some Sages that
teach that Mashiach will manifest during the month of
Cheshvan."

In Fay's 11 Oct 2020
letter "The End will come with/like a Flood -
Cheshvan!" She ties what happened with the Great
Flood to the present day, "I believe it's a massive hint
to the month of Cheshvan and Noah's flood."

The
End will come with/like a Flood - Cheshvan!
There have been many
letters to Doves over the years about this month and a
possible Rapture connection.
When the Lord told us that
the end times would be 'like the days of Noah'...this may
not have only been a comparison of then to now - to
the degree of sin that was going on at that time and that
the people were oblivious to the coming judgment but also
a reference to the 'days' that are specifically given in
Genesis..
I know many believe that
the Rapture will occur on the same day the Tribulation
starts, but there is nothing in scripture that is firm on
that. Is there a gap of days, weeks, months?
I certainly hope that this
is the month of the Messiah - the Rapture and the prelude
to the beginning of the end!
10 Cheshvan is October 28
(starts sundown October 27)
17 Cheshvan is November 4
(starts sundown November 3). (It is interesting that
this day is election day in the U.S - marking probably the
greatest battle between good and evil that this country
has ever seen. I'll definitely be thinking about
what happened to Noah on election day! We'd
love to be gone before the election fall out - either way,
it will get ugly.)
Do not fear or worry -
"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power
and of love and of a sound mind." 2 Timothy 1:7
Pray for the peace of
