Hello John and Doves,
There are three days of
Noah, at the start of the destruction of the world by
water: the day they entered the ark, the day the
rains started, and the day the rains stopped.
"And the Lord said unto Noah, Come thou and all they house
into the ark....For yet seven days, and I will cause it to
rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights."
Genesis 7:1-4
"They went in two and
two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as
God had commanded Noah. And it came to pass after
seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the
earth." Genesis 7:9-10
"And they that went in,
went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded
him: and the Lord shut him in." Genesis 7:16
Using the chabad.org
calendar:
So seven days before the
rains began the Lord shut Noah and his family and the
animals in the ark. That would have been on 10
Cheshvan. Because on 17 Cheshvan the flood began.
This year, 17 Cheshvan
is November 3/November 4 - sunset to sunset. So 10
Cheshvan is October 27/October 28 - sunset to sunset. (November 3 is election day in the U.S.)
Forty days starting with
November 4 is December 13.
Will something happen on
the anniversary of 10 Cheshvan, or 17 Cheshvan this
year? Will something happen on the anniversary of
the 40 days of rain, December 13?
"For in the days before
the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and
giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered
the ark. And they were oblivious, until
the flood came and swept them all away." Matthew
24:38-39
We know the numbers 7
and 40 are important to the Lord. Strong's Hebrew
for seven means 'to perish'. The number 40
symbolizes a time of testing, trial, suffering.
And with everything
going on in 2020....we don't dare ask 'what else could
possibly go wrong?'
Just thinking out
loud...
Pray for the peace of
Jerusalem!
Maranatha!
