"RE: Gino: 09.29.19: I'm not worthy"

Gino,
Of course you are not worthy!
What were you thinking, man?
Are not all our righteousnesses as filthy rags, anyway?

Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

We cannot make ourselves to have righteousness, can we?

Matthew 5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Romans 10:3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

Galatians 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

After all, isn't the righteousness that we need is Jesus' righteousness, and not our own, correct?

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Romans 3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

Philippians 3:9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

And the only way to attain to this righteousness, is by Jesus, and through faith in him?

Romans 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Romans 9:30 What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith.

Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

II Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Then, we are still not to expect to be self righteous, but are we not rather merely to be servants of righteousness?

Romans 6:18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

So, the fine linen, that is said to be the righteousness of saints, is still not our self righteousness, but the imputed righteousness of Christ, correct?

Revelation 19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

If we couldn't be saved by self-produced righteousness, why would self-produced righteousness, after we are saved, be any more effective?

Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

No, Gino, you are not worthy, because you have no righteousness of your own, but there is one who is worthy:

Revelation 5:12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
