Daniel  9:25-27  was written by the Jewish prophet Daniel long before the rules of modern English composition were formulated and put into practice. Therefore if your understanding of Daniel 9:25-27 is according to the rules of modern English composition you are setting yourself up for a great misunderstanding of who the pronoun "he" in Daniel 9:27 is referring to.

The pronoun "he" in Daniel 9:27 is referring to "Messiah"  who is spoken of in Daniel 9:26.
