Hi John and Doves,

I'm sure I'm not the only one to be shocked at the latest developments in the Middle East. Islam is on the move. With this profound sign in motion, I went diving back into the book of Revelation..... the letters to the churches. Are you aware that every single church "which are in Asia" are ALL situated in Turkey? Every single one. Revelation 3:7 addresses the church in Philadelphia. They are told that they have the LORD's approval. They are loved and the door is open to them. However, they are also told that they will endure certain trials but will be kept from "the hour". I seriously ask... are some of these people going to be martyred because they live in the hot zone? Or is this letter addressed to all "Philadelphia Christians" world-wide? I tend to think this letter is to a very specific people "who are in Asia"/ Turkey, to be exact.

The Day of the LORD is spoken of in Ezekiel 38, which, by all the converging signs we are seeing, is on the near horizon. Which means that the Philadelphia Christians are currently "enduring patiently" as we speak. This is how I see it. I would welcome insight from other Doves who may have a different angle on all this. There is a reason why this letter was addressed to a specific people group in a specific location. Nothing in the Bible is random. The church in Smyrna is told they will have tribulation for 10 days. Could this be a time marker - a countdown, if you will - to the Day of the LORD? Ezekiel 38?

Let's not forget the super moons that highlighted both Purims this year. Mercury will be transiting the sun on November 11th. We are also told that the sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the Day of the LORD. Going by the recent (and shocking) turn of events don't think the rapture will be a "signless" event, as we are frequently told. Luke 21 informs us that when we see these things BEGIN to happen, we are to lift up our heads as our redemption draws near. When we see Jerusalem encompassed by armies, we are to know that her desolation is nigh. Logically, this could happen soon. I don't believe that Islam will waste this window of opportunity that they have been gifted by DJT. Islam will move quickly in case the window closes again.
