about what is the difference in the blood in Rev. 8:3
and the blood in Rev. 16:3, the blood of a living
person contains oxygen which keeps all the cells and
organs in the body alive and functioning. The blood of
a dead man would contain no oxygen because he no
longer has the ability to breathe oxygen into his
lungs.
A
fish breathes by taking water into its
mouth and forcing it out through the gill
passages. A water molecule is
made up of two hydrogen atoms and one
oxygen atom. Without oxygen in the
water, a fish would die because there
would be no oxygen in the water to breathe
in. So when the sea became as the blood of
a dead man and every living soul died in
the sea, it would be from a lack of oxygen
in the water. Levitcus 17:11
says, "For the life of the flesh is
in the blood: and I have given it to you
upon the altar to make an atonement for
your souls: for it is the
blood that maketh an atonement
for the soul."
