Hello Fellow Doves,
It's been awhile since I've written on Five Doves but I've recently learned of a situation that is so out of control that only the Lord can handle it. A friend of mine from Ireland wrote a blog for a parental website about childhood mental illness. I had no idea she was even going through this but when I read the piece, my heart broke. Doves, we need to pray for this little 7 year old boy and pray fervently and daily until there is a breakthrough. It certainly sounds like demonic possession to me although his family is not born again and I doubt this has even occurred to them. They are not getting any help whatsoever from the medical community. Typical. I can't begin to imagine what its like to live like this on a daily basis. There is certainly power in numbers when it comes to prayer and I was hoping that if all of us Doves begin to pray for this child, God will heal him. In a case like this, I don't think just whispering a quick prayer will do the job. If this situation touches your heart as it has mine, I believe it will take continuous prayer to correct it. P-U-S-H = pray until something happens.
His step-mother is a wonderful woman who devotes her life to helping and counseling others with their problems and never even mentioned that she has much more serious problems of her own.
