WHAT SCRIPTURE WAS JESUS SPEAKING OF
IN DANIEL............
as He was giving His Olivet
Discourse when He said the following recorded in :
"When ye therefore shall see the
ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION , spoken of by the
Prophet Daniel, stand in the holy place...'
"But when ye shall see the
ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION , spoken of by the
Prophet Daniel, standing where IT ought
not....." (Notice Mark uses the word "it", not he, to
describe the Abomination of Desolation.)
"But when you see Jerusalem
surrounded by ARMIES (Gog-Magog ) then know that its
DESOLATION is near."
It is
clear to see that the Abomination of Desolation is
the Gog-Magog armies poised to commence their
desolation upon Jerusalem. The Abomination of
Desolation IS NOT the anti-Christ !
You will find that Daniel spoke
ONLY ONE TIME about the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION ,
and that was in:
"And from the time that the daily
sacrifice shall be taken away, and the ABOMINATION
THAT MAKE DESOLATE is set up, there shall be 1,290
days."
Daniel DID NOT speak of the
Abomination of Desolation in Daniel 9:27. To say that
he did is a false extrapolation from the Scripture.
The "prince to come" spoken of in Daniel 9:27 is
Prince Titus who was the commander of the Roman Army
that came and destroyed both the temple and the city
of Jerusalem in 70 AD.
