The month of Cheshvan, Month 8 on The Spiritual Year Calendar for Israel, begins The Rosh Chodesh at sunset  on 10-21, 2017. This is the date according to the Torah Calendar (Creation Calendar) with the visible crescent of 7-8% of the waxing new moon. A number of hours after conjunction, the illumination of the reflected light of the sun on the lunar surface begins to increase from 0-1%, then more. It is only at 7-8 % that human vision can see the visible crescent. When the 2 Temples were at Jerusalem, the visual sighting then confirmation and declaration method was used. Then 2 silver trumpets were sounded  to announce and command to assemble the House of Israel for the appointed time, the "moed" of the Rosh Chodesh. Not a Shabbat or a Feast of the Lord, it is still a significant monthly event. Isaiah assures us that the Rosh Chodesh will continue through the Millennium, the 1000 Year Reign of the Messiah. According to time and date.com, 10-20 to 21, 2017 is 2520 days away from Yom Kippur 2024 from 9-13 to 14 on the Torah Calendar.

 

   Daniel Matson believes that the day 2520 days from Yom Kippur will be 11-19, 2017. That is a lunar cycle of 28 days later. He wonders if The Blessed Hope will be the date of Cheshan 10 in 2017 on 10-30 to 31, a Great Anniversary Date in the Noah narratives in the Book of Genesis. So there is a somewhat rare convergence on 10-21 of the "appointment time" feast of the Lord weekly Shabbat with the Noah Torah Reading followed at sunset then the next day on 10-22 with the Rosh Chodesh Cheshvan, another "appointment time" monthly.  Isaiah assures us that during the Millennium there will be these 5 foundational "appointment times" each month ( The monthly Rosh Chodesh and the 4 weekly Shabbats). Will the Rosh Chodesh for Month 8 Cheshvan  be momentous between 10-21 to 22 sunsets? Cheshvan is the lead off month if the 2nd Coming will be Yom Kippur 2024, about 2520 days later.

 

   It is assumed that the 1260 days of the 2 witnesses "in the spirit of Moses and Elijah" is then immediately followed by 1260 days (The Abomination until the 2nd Coming). This would be a linear progression of 1260 days plus 1260 days = 2520 days. Then add 30 and 45 days to go from 2520 to 2550 to 2595 days total. What if there is an overlap of days? They would still add up to 2520 with the 2 periods or phases, but that could move the date forward for the beginning of the 70th Week of Daniel, past 10-21 to 22 or 11-19 in 2017. It is from Daniel that the day count is about 1260 plus 30 plus 45 = 1335 days. Blessed is he who arrives at day 1335. Not at date 2520, or 2550, or 2595! These dates we associate with the Book of Revelation with 2 assumed linear progression periods of 1260 days each, plus 30 plus 45 to go from 2520 to 2550 to 2595 days. 

 

   On some date or dates, Cheshvan may be vitally important in 2017. One needs to lift up your head and look up to witness the visible crescent on the Cheshvan Rosh Chodesh. Remember the words of the Master? "When you see these things begin to happen, lift up your heads and look up. Your redemption draws near." Will Rosh Chodesh Cheshvan be a spiritual sea change month?
