Apparently, no one has discussed Vayera in the past here. It was noted basically in two sub-listings, the latest being from Pastor Bob on August 10, 2014. This year Vayera occurs beginning at sundown Jerusalem time November 3 , at 4:48 PM. That is 9:48 AM , November 2 , New York time.
Vayera readings designated in Torah all deal with miraculous births , Isaac, Samuel , etc. Vayera takes place exactly 40 days after the Revelation 12 "sign" which occurred on September 23 this year. This Revelation 12 sign was "concealed" , that is, it was not visible to the human eye. We do know that it only happened this year , 2017 , not in 6,000 years past , nor in 1,000 years in the future. We know the lights in heaven were given for "signs". God may "conceal" a thing but it is the glory of kings to search it out it..... Proverbs 25:2
According to Leviticus 12 , a woman who gives birth is unclean for a total of 40 days , 7 plus 33 days. Forty is the number of testing, of proving purity, in scripture. Israel spent 40 years in the wilderness, Jesus was tempted 40 days , etc. After 40 days , she, the bride, the mother is clean. Her holiness is mentioned in Leviticus 12:4. Again , following the Rev. 12 sign, where the bride "Virgo" gave birth in the heavens with a crown of 12 stars, and then 40 days later the bride is pure and tested. That takes us to Vayera.
There are other connections of note to November 2-3. This year November 2 is 100 years , to the day, from the Balfour Declaration. There are three measures of a generation in scripture and the first one given is in Genesis 21:5 , which is 100 years. " And Abraham was a hundred years old when his son Isaac was born unto him". The Balfour Declaration was Nov. 2 , 1917.
It is also exactly 726 days from November 2 , 2017 counting back from the last of the series of rare "blood red moons" , the final one being on September 28, 2015. Of course, 726 is Strong's number for the word "harpazo" meaning to snatch away, to take by force. It is also the numeric value of the last two sons of Jacob , Manasseh (395) and Ephriam (331). These two sons were born in a gentile nation of a gentile mother , a type of those gentiles who are to be grafted into the house of faith in the God of Israel.
Noah's flood began in the month of Chesvan and we are now in that month. Jesus said "as it was in the "DAYS" of Noah...." Could that refer to the timing , the time of year ? Mt 24:37.
