"Never lose hope"
Hi John and Doves,
I have visited fivedoves for couple of weeks and saw the banner
No letters for October 8 and 15. I would like to encourage
everyone here NOT to lose hope and excitement of rapture.
Nothing happened in September (Rosh Hashana/Sep 23 Rev 12
sign/Yom Kippur/Sukkot) or till this point of time. It is
natural to go weary and tired. But, I am here to tell you that
never lose hope.
The main reason is I predicted that nothing might happen during
September and I wrote a specific post to fivedoves during the
month of June itself. If you would like to read that article,
here is the link, Why rapture may not occur in September 2017?
Why rapture may not occur in September 2017?
In that I wrote, there is still hope of rapture in 2017 till the
end of December. Even if rapture doesn't happen in 2017, one
cannot ignore the importance of 2017 as such. This is the year
of milestone and from here on the end time events will unfold
gradually.
The problem with many of us is we try to predict the exact date
or timing of rapture and Bible never teaches to do that. We are
told to look forward for the blessed hope but we are not asked
to find the exact date or time. In the process of attempting to
find the date, we try to come up with various theories and try
to fit them. But, often we fail to account for all the Biblical
prophecies. We consider some of them and ignore others. We
consider prophecies from Daniel like 70th week but fail to fit
in Matthew 24. We speak about Revelation events but fail to
check stuff about Anti Christ written in Thessalonians. One must
account for all the prophecies in the entire Bible which is
nearly impossible.
We often bend some of the important verses like "No one knows
the day or the hour" in order to fit our findings of rapture
dates. For that we explain some Jewish customs and end times.
Let's try to take the Word of God at its face value and try to
interpret.
Jesus didn't disclose the exact date and time of rapture but at
the same time He gave plenty of signs regarding the end times in
the gospels. Based on that, we realize this is the time and
season. But, we need to consider one important fact that the
gospel must be preached to the ends of the earth before the
actual end comes as per Matthew 24:14.
There are still millions of people who never heard the gospel.
For example, take the people of North Korea or some of the
interior parts of Russia or China. Gospel must be preached to
them as well. Our God is gracious. His grace is forever and
ever. Accepting the gospel is up to the individual person who
hears it and how God moves His heart and spirit. But, all the
nations should hear it. Everyone should get a fair chance. Are
we praying for that? It is the most important question we should
ask ourselves.
I invite you to meditate on 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 which is
the middle chapter of the middle book of New Testament where the
important message about the revelation of Anti Christ and end
times is written. I will also meditate and try to come up with
another post.
With love YBIC,
Issac Samuel.
