Dear Doves,


In the late 90's, I had a very disturbing dream. I have never forgotten it. I can assure you I knew little or nothing about EMP or Coronal Mass Ejection,( CME), at the time.

In the dream, I was driving along the coast of west Florida headed south. I was alone in the car, and my wife and two sons were in our minivan ahead of me. I noticed the spectacular sunset taking place to my right. I called my wife on the cell phone and suggested we pull over at the next beach access and park to watch the beautiful sunset. We parked side by side and all got out. There were a lot of other people there, many of them by the waters edge, all enjoying the view. As we walked towards the water, suddenly something wierd and unexpected happened, the Sun Blinked ! The sun just disappeared. It didn't get dark like night, just gray! It stayed like that! It was such a shock to every one on the beach. Then suddenly there was a heat wave. This scared everyone so bad, that they began to run to their cars. We did the same thing. When I turned the key in the ignition, Nothing! I looked left and right and everyone had the same experience. The heat was increasing! We all got out and I began to dig a hole in the sand to escape the heat. The grayness continued, no Sun.

End of Dream.

Doves, I don't think I have ever shared this dream. For years, I have thought of it as the Sun Blink Dream. This week it has particularly been on my mind.
