Revelation 17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
 
So, was the beast in the wilderness when John saw the whore sit upon it?
17:1 says that she “sitteth” upon many waters, but line 3 says that John saw her “sit”.
So if the beast was in the wilderness, is it possible that this multi-kinged beast are desert lands?
Could it be made up of the desert kingdoms of the North Africa and the Middle East?
 
When she sits on the beast, is it like a rodeo rider getting on buckin’ bronco or a bull?
Does she think that she will tame and control the beast?
However, the ten horns on it, turn against her and burn her.
