"cumulative blood
guilt?"
Could the blood, that the whore is drunken with, be cumulative
blood guilt?
That would be similar to what happened to Jerusalem in the days
that Jesus was here.
Revelation 17:6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of
the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when
I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
Revelation 18:20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy
apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.
24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints,
and of all that were slain upon the earth.
Revelation 19:2 For true and righteous are his judgments: for he
hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with
her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at
her hand.
Weren’t others guilty of the blood of saints and prophets?
Revelation 16:6 For they have shed the blood of saints and
prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are
worthy.
Jerusalem had all the blood since Abel come upon them:
Matthew 23:35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood
shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the
blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the
temple and the altar.
So can’t the blood “of all that were slain upon the earth” come
upon the whore? (Rev 18:24)
I guess that would include all the aborted babies.
So maybe she actively persecutes and kills Christians.
But whether she does or not, the blood of saints, apostles,
prophets, and martyrs of Jesus, are still avenged on her.
