Respect has to be earned. If it doesn't deserve respect - it isn't going to get it from me. I have had several phone calls from local councils asking me how I'm going to vote in the coming local elections. UK. I was polite but firm. A) How I'm going to vote is none of their business. B) I am being asked my opinion - therefore, I'm going to give it. Without swearing, of course! Although - it is sorely tempting.

We are given questions which we need to answer from 1 to 10. 10 being the highest positive and 1 being lowest negative.

As far as I'm concerned, they are asking me to vote for a) Sewerage  ......b) Garbage..........c) Meh

I know our American friends feel exactly the same way. Why is it that our choices are all about voting for the least bloody awful? It's basically a choice between gangrene and cancer.
