Sadly - we are still here. Almighty God has His reasons. I have long believed that the Moeds are for the Jewish people and Israel. However, what affects Israel ultimately affects us. I am going to quote from an article I read and wrote down. Sadly, I cannot find the original article to give proper kudos where they are due. So, sincere apologies to the author.

Vast numbers of people do not understand that the entire Bible is a Jewish Book and that Christianity has Jewish roots. God used all Jewish men to to pen the Bible from beginning to end. Both old and new testaments. The first Christians were all Jews. Jews brought the Gospel to the Gentiles. We should be thankful for that. The entire Bible is a Jewish book, and, contrary to popular thinking, no one is born a Christian.

So, the Jewish feasts are Jewish feasts. Affecting the land of Israel and the Jewish people. We are to watch Israel for a heads up to our own redemption. As God deals with the Jew and the Christian in different and separate ways, He will separate us when the time comes. It's very clear that we are approaching a cataclysmic end to the current world order. The war in the Middle East

 has gone too far for any one of the super powers to back down now. If they do reach some sort of peace agreement, then we know that instant destruction will come upon them. It's just a matter of time now. The very minute they start attacking Israel, is the minute Almighty God is driven to great fury. As we are not appointed to Wrath - we will be instantly removed from Wrath's path. So - in a very macabre way - we await the destruction of Damascus. Because soon after, the marauding hordes are going to turn their attention to Israel. That's how I see it unfolding.

Sukkot 2016 starts on 16th October and ends on 23rd October. As the Feast of Sukkot involves using palm leaves, I am reminded of the vast number of people who turn up in Heaven, waving palm branches. They are people from all over the world who have washed clean their sins in the blood of the Lamb. These people have come out of - or removed from  -  Great Tribulation. In other words - Wrath. Rev 7:9.

May Almighty God remove us from the hour of temptation and deliver us from evil. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem and that Thy Will be done.
