Some
Thoughts on Rapture Timing

I
felt devastated (as usual) when the Feast of Trumpets
came and went this year and I found myself still here. I feel like
a bride standing at the altar all alone. We are so
close. This
just has to be the year.
Of
course, God has a plan and He is in complete control. Nevertheless,
I cannot help but feel a terrible sense of
disappointment.
Next
year on September 23,
2017,
there is going to be an exceptionally rare fulfillment
of the Sign of the Son of Man in the heavens, and it
will also coincide with the Feast of Trumpets. This sign
could very well be the fulfillment of Revelation 12. I find that
exciting, but another year of waiting seems like such
a horribly long time.
1A great sign appeared in
heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon
under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her
head. 2She was pregnant and cried out
in pain as she was about to give birth. 3Then another sign appeared in
heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and
ten horns and seven crowns on its heads. 4Its tail swept a third of the
stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The
dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to
give birth, so that it might devour her child the
moment he was born. 5She gave birth to a son, a male
child, who “will rule all the nations with an iron
scepter.” And
her child was snatched up to God and to his throne. 6The woman fled into the wilderness to
a place prepared for her by God, where she might be
taken care of for 1,260 days. Rev 12:1-6 NIV.
However,
something just occurred to me. Most Bible
scholars believe the Book of Revelation is in
chronological order.
We also believe that the rapture occurs in
Revelation 4 since that is the last time the Church is
mentioned on earth.
If this is the case, then it seems to me that
the rapture must happen well before the Sign of the
Son of Man from Revelation 12 appears in the heavens
next year.
Perhaps
the rapture is not so far away after all.
Have
you noticed all of the signs and hints in the articles
on the prophetic news sites suggesting that we are so
very close to a nuclear war with Russia?? For example, when I woke up this
morning and checked the computer I found that we are
now at DEFCON 3.
If
Obama truly is the anti-Christ, or Gog (of the Battle
of Gog and MaGog), and he is going to act using the
power of the presidency, he only has 3 months left at
the most to do so.
As
I mentioned above, God is in total control and
everything is happening according to His plan. We are the
witnesses that will one day, hundreds or thousands of
years from now, be telling others what it was truly
like in the Last Days on earth. That is why I truly
feel honored to be alive at the present time.
