Around noon yesterday I had my nose up in the air and I was just sniffing around (common behavior for a rodent, even a Rapture rodent), when suddenly a powerful thought came into my rather small brain.

This kind of blew me away.

Israel has been quite concerned that if they move against the Iranian nuclear facilities, Hezbollah in Lebanon will open up with rocket fire (and they have at least 60 to 80,000 rockets).  But very recently the dynamics have changed!  Russia has poured in troops and military equipment, and has enlisted Hezbollah to fight with them against the factions fighting Syrian President Bashar Assad.  Right now the battle is intense.  Hezbollah, Russia, the Syrian army, and even the Chinese (their aircraft off of a Chinese aircraft carrier) are fighting Assad's enemies.

So, this would be a perfect time for Israel to go ahead and strike Iran.  Russia would very likely constrain Hezbollah from opening a front against Israel, as this would likely draw Russia in, and right now Russia has no beef with Israel (later yes, but not now).  In fact, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was in Russia recently to meet with Vladimir Putin to make sure that Israeli forces and Russian forces do not accidentally get into a fight.  And perhaps, just perhaps, the Russians would not be disappointed with the Iranians losing their nuclear weapons facilities.  And I would guess Israel would prefer to move against Iran in the fall as opposed to winter, or even having to wait till spring.  And this just might correspond to the time of the Rapture!

Well, it was a rather unusual thought for a rodent to have!  Now whether or not Israel moves remains to be seen.  In the last week or two terrorism within Israel from the Palestinians has increased greatly, and that might have Israel holding off on Iran.
