Further Clarification on the Timing of the Flood

In thinking further on the ISSUE of October being the 2nd month for the
flood rather than April, logically it doesn't make sense and here's why.......

God's word, which states "in the second month", was given to us to be
the historical record of the flood and was written hundreds of years after
the fact.   When Moses wrote those words at the approximate time of
the Exodus, he was told the first month was to be March.  If the second
month was October at the time of the flood and now, after the Exodus
the calandar had changed with April then being the 2nd month, why
then wouldn't he, at that time of his writing, tell us that the flood was in the
8th month instead since the second month had become the 8th month?
He didn't, because God is not the author of confusion and that is what
the wrong interpretation develops into - confusion!

Moses instructs the Israelites that the fall feasts are in the 7th month -
does that mean September or March?  See - that's what I mean.  So to
be consistant it only follows that logically if the flood had occurred
in October he would have stated the 8th month for better understanding
and to prevent less confusion.   This, to me, is logical and sensible in my
way of thinking and IMHO.

Also recall that April showers brings May flowers.  Just had to throw
that in!

Soon we'll know.  Come Lord Jesus.  We await your return.

Blessings,

Judith
