Article by
Joel Rosenburg - articulating each point as to where we are
on the prophetic timeline.
My
thinking is that we are all far too horrified and miserable
to endure this breakdown in society and morality for much
longer. Why would my Father God put me (us) through this ?
Why would He tease us with achingly accurate prophecy - only
to make us sit through another decade or two? Yearning and
longing -aching and breaking for the arrival of our precious
LORD Jesus. A husband, who truly loves his wife and family,
would never do this.
Read
through a summary of the book of Job. He had to sit through
the loss of everything near and dear to him as well as
suffer having bodily puss and boils (please,
God.........don't allow satan to put us through that. Haha)
Job was confused but NEVER lost his complete faith, love and
trust in God. He just wondered why on earth he was being put
through his suffering. Given that he loved the LORD with all
his heart. His chums were all sprouting the right words -
preaching that God is grand and beautiful - but not getting
the big picture. Satan, the accuser, is once again putting
God's people to the test. He is challenging God and reckons
that we will all fall away because our comfort zone has been
lost. We must all hang in there, brothers and sisters. We
have the Holy Spirit and our faith. We must trust our Father
God and endure all we have to. God has promised us that he
will never give us more than we can cope with. Here's a very
comforting scripture. Soothing. Try inserting the word
"temptation" for "Testing" I Corinthians 10:13 "No
temptation (TESTING) has overtaken you except what is common
to mankind. And God is faithful. He will not let you be
tempted (TESTED) beyond what you can bear. But when you are
tempted (TESTED), He will also provide a way out so you can
endure it" WOW!! It's going to be a rough ride by the sounds
of it. Buckle up! We are safe and secure. Much like a scary
roller coaster - we have to endure the nauseating ride -
however long our LORD requires us to. The book of Job is
profound and deserves more attention. Link to Rosenburg's
article below and then link to summary of Job :-
