"A Thought About
Rapture Timing"
Hi everybody,
Luke 12:40 tells us that the rapture is going to happen at a
time when we least expect it. Perhaps we should take a
closer look at this verse.
"You too, be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour that
you do not expect." Luke 12:40 NAS.
I really believe that the rapture is going to happen in the
extremely near future. All of the signs point to an
imminent rapture. In fact, we can even say (as I have in
previous posts) that there are so many signs around us that it
is almost impossible to see the road.
Maybe the rapture will happen on some plain 'ole day and there
was no way any of us could have ever predicted it. I
suppose that is possible, but something inside of me says that
God created a universe where everything from the motion of a
single atom to the movements of stars and planets separated by
distances I cannot even comprehend happens with the precision
that far exceeds the precision of the finest Swiss watch.
If that is the case, and I believe that it is, then we should be
able to predict when it will happen.
What date is coming up in the extremely near future that is the
time when we would least expect the Lord to return for His
bride?
What about Halloween? Don't forget that the next day,
November 1st, is All Saints Day. That is day we are
supposed to remember all of the saints.
I am just thinking out loud here.
Actually, it sounds rather absurd. All Hallows Eve
(Halloween) really is the one day that I would least expect to
pull the trigger. Just like the above scripture would
suggest.
